I didn’t get you a card. :(

I didn’t get you a card.

Alright, so there are plenty of excuses. I was working. Things were crazy before vacation. I had every intent of getting you a card while on vacation, but realized at the last moment that we don’t have a car and we don’t have a whole lot of time to just “run out” to grab something.

So instead, you get this. It’s really just a web page. But it  has some neat stuff on it like this:

So now you know I was up last night writing this. Or I wrote it earlier this year and I’M A TIME TRAVELER!!!

No, I’m not a time traveler. And you probably figured that out by now. Seriously, with that kind of power I would have won the lottery – and figured out world peace and all that stuff too. Instead, I’m just a guy. A guy from Nebraska, who moved to Chicago, who met a girl from Jersey.

Today we celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary (a day early due to logistical issues with those amazing little Buddhas we call Mia and Theo.)

This year has been transformative for both of us in so many ways. While we’re not perfect, and never will be, I feel like our bond is stronger than ever.

I can’t thank you enough for all of the time, effort, and energy you’ve put into your own self-growth and knowledge you’ve shared with me to help me grow as well. Your path is an inspiration to me, and words can’t do justice to the gratitude I have to you for bringing so many amazing teachings, methods, and moments of infinite patience you’ve brought to our family.

You make me want to be a better person. You are the role model I always hoped our children would have. And you’ve worked your ass off to get there.

I was the luckiest man in the world the day I married you. And somehow, you’ve continued to make me feel luckier and luckier each day since.

I love you with all of my heart. Happy anniversary my love.

Your Clown,

~Brandon
